Samah's Family Child Care, Reston

I'm a parent like you and I have 1 year of child care experience. I’m the owner and main caregiver of Samah's Family Child Care, a small and intimate home daycare and preschool in Reston, VA. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and I’m CPR & First-aid certified. You can be sure that your little one is safe and will receive plenty of individual attention since I only take a maximum of 4 children.

I use an age-appropriate curriculum and follow the Play-based learning approach, allowing my students to learn through play and fun educational activities such as story time, arts, singing, and dancing. If weather permits, we go to the nearby community playground for them to enjoy outdoor playtime. If you want, I can also teach your child the Arabic language in addition to English (though my program is not a bilingual daycare).

My family child care and preschool program is open year-round between 5:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. If needed, I can also provide after-hours daycare from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am, and I can offer weekend child care on Saturdays and Sundays (please call or email to ask about additional tuition for evening care and weekend care.) I provide full-time and part-time care for infants, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. For older kids, up to 10 years old, I can offer before and after school care (my facility is close to Terraset Elementary School and Hunters Woods Elementary School). All children attending my program are served with breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and all these are already included in the tuition.

Samah's Family Child Care is in the Shadowood neighborhood in Reston, VA. I’m right off South Lakes Dr and Soapstone Dr, near Reston Park. Your day to day commute will be hassle-free since I have easy access to Reston Pkwy (route 602), Lawyers Rd (route 673) and the Dulles Access/Toll Rd (route 267).
