My name is Rebecca Cruz and my Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Severn, MD. I have 19 years of child care experience. I have a Child Development Associate and extensive training in early childhood development. I am open from 7:00am until 5:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 5 years old, including children with special needs. I offer full time care. I provide lunch and two snacks. I participate in The Creative Curriculum for Family Child Care. This curriculum is based on using my observations of children to create a "Group Planning Form". My curriculum is developmentally appropriate and based on objectives and activities that promote learning and development in all content areas.

My daughter has greatly flourished being in Ms. Becca's care. She enjoys being there. She has been in attendance there for nine months, and I don't plan on moving her anytime soon. Ms. Becca is reliable and dedicated. She treats all the children as though they're one of her own. I especially like the intimate environment, and individualized care she provides each child.

Mrs. Beccas daycare is the best childcare that I could have ever put my LO in. Mrs Becca quickly will become part of your family, it takes a village to raise a child, and she is definitely my sons second mommy. My LO started at around 6 months, and was there till almost 3yo. The only reason he isn't still going is because we moved to TX. We even put off the move for 6 months because we didnt want to let Mrs. Becca go! I never once was worried... more

My children absolutely love miss Becca. She loves them and treats them like her own. I felt reassured leaving my children in her care. This is a great place to bring your children for daycare.

My children have been with Rebecca for four years - one has moved on to school and the little one is still with her. I would not have it any other way, and am so thankful for the four years we have had with Rebecca. We could not be more happy to have found Rebecca to care for our girls. They have been with her for over a year and we are so lucky to know that they are cared for and treated like her own children. Finding someone who provides a loving, caring and educational environment was top on our list and Rebecca has done that and so much more. She has become such an important part of all of our lives.

If you are unable to stay at home with your little one(s), taking them to Rebecca is the next best thing you can do for them. Rebecca treats every child as if they were her own, caring for them as well as having a structured curriculum that prepares them for school. When we decided to have our son in FCC we totally lucked out! Ms. Becca (Rebecca Cruz) was just what we needed. She is kind, patient, protective and nurturing. We were looking for someone who could help our son learn socially as well as his education and she provided that to him.
