Fathema Johra Family Child Care, DC

Fathema Johra's Child Care is a licensed home daycare in Washington, DC. We’re located near Coolidge High School and the Takoma Community Center in the Takoma neighborhood of NW Washington DC. We are a family-run child care program, and we care for children between the ages of 1 month and 3 years old. We provide full-time child care between 7am and 6pm, Monday through Friday, but can also provide drop-in child care if you have occasional needs. I am a mother of 4 children myself, so I have lots of experience! I have 12 years of experience in child care and early education, starting as a kindergarten teacher. I love caring for children and helping them build confidence through love. My approach to early learning is play-based, and Waldorf inspired. I also take pride in sharing my culture through language and cooking, so I can provide a bilingual daycare environment, English-Bengali.
