They offer flexible child care options to accommodate working families such as full-time care and part-time care for infants as young as 2 weeks, as well toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old (including children with special needs). Parents are welcome to bring food, but the daycare serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all children in their care. Meals are all included in the tuition. Due to possible allergies, this is a peanut-free and tree-nut free daycare. Before and after school care are both available for older kids, up to 12 years old (the facility is less than 5 minutes away from Mercer Arcola Elementary School and Goshen Post Elementary School). Please send an email or request a tour at your convenience, they will be happy to meet your family!
Westbury Glen Schoolhouse
About Me Westbury Glen Schoolhouse is a home-based daycare and preschool in Aldie, VA. I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 15 years of experience in providing child care and early childhood education. As a mother of 2 myself, I want every child in my care to have a warm and home-like environment where they feel loved and safe. I’m CPR and First-aid certified, as well as M.A.T trained so if needed, I can administer medication to all children in my care. Curriculum I follow the Play-based learning principles, so children are encouraged to learn through play and fun educational activities. My curriculum is tailored to each child's unique needs and developmental stage. I not only focus on providing nurturing and high-quality child care, but also strive to promote educational growth and learning. My little students will be engaged in various academic and creative activities such as STEM, Arts & Crafts, Painting, Puzzles, Team Building and much more! In addition to English, I speak Persian, Dari, and Urdu and upon your request, I can expose your child to these foreign languages (this is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn a new language, however, please note that we are not a bilingual daycare). I also have fenced backyard, and will have a playground where kids can spend time outdoors playing and having fun! Program My facility is open year-round from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 2 months and 5 years old. Home-cooked breakfast, lunch and snacks are served to all kids attending my program (all meals are already included in the tuition) and due to possible allergies, I run a peanut free daycare. Location Westbury Glen Schoolhouse is located in the Westbury Glen neighborhood of Aldie, VA (between Lenah and Gilbert's Corner). We're right off Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy (US-50), near Gilbert’s Corner Regional Park. You everyday commute will be convenient since we have easy access to route 15 and Sully Road (route 28). The Craftery House

The Craftery House is a family owned and operated home-based childcare and preschool center that has a focus on creative arts. It is owned and... operated by Rosie who has over 15 years of experience with children from birth to grade school. The Craftery House provides a nurturing home-like environment while also encouraging and promoting academic and creative artist growth from an early age. One of the many benefits of a home childcare and pre-school environment is that there are smaller groups of children than commercial pre-school facilities. There is a larger age range of children rather than individual rooms that separate children, allowing children to interact with other children of different age groups. This results in children being more sociable and also helps them to learn to guide and teach their peers. At The Craftery House, your child will be cared for by the same person, day after day. This is extremely important because caregiver consistency is important for children, providing a secure environment for them to learn and grow. Children flourish when they are cared for by people they love. While offering the safety and comfort of home and providing a consistent caregiver throughout the years, home child care is the care of choice for many parents. The Craftery House provides parents with the peace of mind that their child is safe, protected and well cared for. We provide care for multi-aged groups of children allowing children to remain with one caregiver for many years, thus developing trust and security in children. In multi-aged settings, siblings are able to stay together and learn from one another.
