Little Smiling Faces
Little Smiling Faces Daycare (LSF) is a structured learning center that has provided quality care since 1995. Our credentialed teachers are dedicated and have a genuine love for children. LSF’s motto… “Where we make learning fun,” is emphasized daily through our program that allows children to grow socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually. Our program also allows children to learn at their own pace and recognizes that they learn and express feelings through play. In addition to a strongly structured curriculum, LSF devotes each month of the school year to studying a different country which helps the children to understand the many diverse cultures of the world. LSF is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The center has an open door policy once your child is enrolled allowing you to drop in at any time. Our goal at Little Smiling Faces Day Care, Inc. (LSF) is to give our children a warm and loving environment, whereby they can grow socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually. We will assist in supplementing the values and morals that are already being instilled by you. We believe that children learn at their own pace and we encourage them to freely explore different avenues of learning. Our Program is designed so that each child is free to explore their creativity, discover the fascinating things the world has to offer and learn about the different types of cultures and their environment. Our job at Little Smiling Faces Day Care, Inc. is not only to provide a safe, nurturing environment, but also to provide an environment that is instrumental in developing your child’s confidence, self-control, and self-esteem, which will help them to feel good about themselves. LSF will provide students with breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. LSF has contracted with a catering service to provide hot lunches. A menu of nutritious meals will be provided to parents each month to keep you informed about what your child is eating. We encourage the children to try foods at least once. If you know your child is allergic or does not like certain foods, you have the option of providing a bag lunch. Keep in mind that all lunches brought from home must be “ready-to-eat” as LSF cannot warm lunches.

The Miracle Child Development Center

Have you noticed how eager you are to learn more about the subjects that capture your interest? It’s exactly the same with children—whenever... something sparks their interest, they soak up everything they can find out about it, quickly, deeply and intensely, learning that will last forever. As teachers and caregivers, we carefully listen for their "WOW!" of discovery, and then get to work, setting the stage, creating the mood, subtly encouraging the children to follow their inspiration. Books of all kinds are made available, writing and drawing materials, blocks and construction equipment, dramatic play accessories, music of the world and our hearts, and all kinds of math and science discovery materials. The children ask and measure, and listen, and think, and consider, and conclude, and perform, and disagree, and create, and take apart, and dance, and their imaginations fly. The spark is kindled, and the fires of learning are ignited. The KidSparkz Curriculum…. • is a developmentally appropriate program fulfilling the needs and appreciating the differences of individual children. Most activities can be enjoyed by children aged three to five. • Provides a balance of child initiated and teacher-focused activities; active and quiet activities; and group and individual activities • Combines aspects of the Project Approach, Reggio Emilia emergent curriculum, and theme-based curricula to create a hands-on, active program where children interact with each other and materials, co-operating and collaborating. • Builds upon what the children already know and are able to do, to enable them to connect new concepts and skills • Encourages parents to be partners in learning
