Bonniemill Acres Kids Playhouse
Welcome to Bonniemill Acres Kids Playhouse, my home daycare in Springfield, VA! I’m the owner and main caregiver, and I have a decade of experience in child care. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Art, and I’m CPR and First-aid certified. My family child care program is small (4 children at most), so you can be sure that your child will receive plenty of individual attention. I run the program with my daughter who is my assistant and has 5 years of experience. My facility is open year-round from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants as young as 1 month, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old. Due to possible allergies, I run peanut and tree-nut free environment. My program follows the Play-based learning approach – allowing my little students to learn through play. I also offer a variety of fun educational activities such as reading, drawing, painting, and arts & crafts as well as and dance. If the weather is nice, we also go outside to play in my large fenced backyard. In addition to English, I also speak Urdu/Hindi and at your request, I can expose your kid to this foreign language (but my daycare is not a bilingual program). Bonniemill Acres Kids Playhouse is in the Bonniemill Acres neighborhood of Springfield, VA. I’m right off Franconia-Springfield Pkwy (route 289), a few minutes away from the Springfield Town Center mall. Your daily commute to work will be convenient since I'm a few minutes drive from Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286) and the I-95. Sacramento Square Children's Place

Sacramento Square Children's Place is a cozy and charming home... daycare and preschool in Alexandria, VA. The owner and main caregiver is a mom with 5 years of experience in child care and early education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science and is CPR & First-aid certified. Before opening her own daycare, she was a teacher and later on a finance manager. However, she decided to quit her job because she wanted to take care of her own child, and offer nurturing care to other families. She believes that children learn best through play and thus follows the Play-based learning approach. Her program also has a preschool curriculum for children up to 5 years old, in order to help them get ready for kindergarten. She teaches her little students to memorize quickly and effectively through rhymes and songs. The program also offers extracurricular activities such as Arts & Crafts and if weather permits, children go out to the playground so they can have fun outdoors. The daycare is open year-round from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. She offers full-time care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old. She can also provide after-hours evening care until 10:00 pm during the week, and weekend child care on Saturdays and Sundays (please call or email to ask about additional tuition for night care and weekend care). She’s part of the USDA Food Program and upon your request, she can serve home-cooked meals to your child (lunch and snacks are both included in the tuition). Her facility is smoke-free and due to possible allergies, she runs a peanut, tree-nut and also pet-free environment. In addition to English, she also speaks Hindi/Urdu and Punjabi and at your request, she can expose your little one to these foreign languages (though this is not a bilingual daycare). Sacramento Square Children's Place is in the Engleside area of Mount Vernon, Alexandria VA. This facility is right off Richmond Hwy (US-1), near the Woodlawn Center shopping plaza. It's a few minutes away from Telegraph Rd (611) and the I-95. Please send an email or call to learn more or schedule a visit!

Lorton Station Children's Den

At Lorton Station Children's Den, we understand that one of the most... crucial phase of a child's life is as a toddler. This is when the child’s interpersonal skills develop with more diversity to include interaction with individuals other than immediate family. Our home daycare provides a schedule of learning activities to explore, nourish, and develop skills in your child such as drawing, free play, Kids Arts and Crafts, Holiday Seasonal Crafts and tram work. These activities are designed to stimulate children's senses and provide wonderful learning opportunities. Based on the research, I have found that between age 0-2 years of age the child learns about himself and his/her environment and during this age baby grain grows about five centimeters during the first three months. I am certified in child care in State of Virginia with 8 years’ experience in childcare. During this process my entire family had to go through back group checks along with TB tests. I have CPR& First Aid and MAT Certification. I am also a NAFCC member and has a Child Development Associate Credential. I am accepting children from New Born to 12 years of age and am open from 6:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays. I am excited to meet your family and to provide the best care possible for your children. It’s a very serious responsibility and I give my commitment to the safety and well-being of your child. Being a mother of a daughter, I understand and feel the emotions leaving the child under someone else's care. Please visit us at our home daycare and call me with any questions are concerns you may have. We also work with military families!
