Grandma Justy's Child Care, Silver Spring

Grandma Justy's Child Care is located in Silver Spring, MD and offers year-round home-based child care. This program is run by Justy, who has been a child care provider for 7 years. Prior to opening a home daycare, she was a teacher for 35 years and loves being around children and helping in their growth and development. She is licensed and has Maryland credentials. She is currently working on her Maryland Excels, and has 90 hours of infant/toddler training. The provider creates a loving, nurturing and comfortable environment for her children to grow and learn. She has found that most of her children come as babies, and usually stay until they are 3 years old. With her, the children will learn in a fun environment, with activities such as playing games, singing songs, arts & crafts, reading and writing. Grandma Justy's Child Care has an open policy with parents, meaning that Grandma really enjoys working directly with the parent to ensure the development of the child. She is flexible in her teaching and likes to accommodate each specific parent's needs for their child. The parents will receive daily reports and daily child activity.
