Burning Tree Valley Bilingual Playhouse
Burning Tree Valley Bilingual Playhouse is a licensed daycare and preschool in Bethesda, MD. This bilingual child care program is run by a licensed provider with 25 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She's a mother of 2 who is also CPR & First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained (she can therefore administer medication to children in care, if needed). The lead teacher also holds a Maryland Child Care Credential Level 6, the highest available. The credential program recognizes child care providers who increase qualifications beyond the requirements of state licensing and registration regulations. Level 6 is the highest for staff and is a recognition of achievement based on a caregiver’s professional development/education, years of experience, and professional activities. Burning Tree Valley Bilingual Playhouse is open year-round from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The daycare offers full-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. This is a bilingual Spanish program that follows the play-based teaching philosophy. Children learn through play and are taught the Spanish language, in addition to English. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn a foreign language at you very young age! The facility is located in Bethesda, in the Burning Tree Valley neighborhood (near Burning Tree Elementary School in the Woodhaven area). The daycare is conveniently located with easy access to Bradley Blvd (route 191) and the Capital Beltway (I-495).
Superkidos Child Care
Welcome to Superkidos Child Care, my licensed home daycare and preschool in Bethesda, MD! About Me: I’m a professional and experienced child care provider with over 6 years of experience working with diverse personalities and a wide range of ages. Before opening my own family child care program, I've worked for several years in other home daycares as well as child care centers. I've been coordinating child care activities, providing instructional & recreational support as well as supervising groups of children. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and I’m CPR & First-aid certified. I can administer medication to all children attending my program since I’m M.A.T trained. I’m also a mother myself, so I know how challenging it parents to find a loving, safe “second home” for your little one. At my daycare, your children will be treated as if they were my own. I'm patient, positive, dedicated and really enthusiastic about working with children! Curriculum: My home is a bilingual Spanish daycare and preschool, so children can learn this foreign language at a very young age. I follow the Play-based learning approach, promoting learning through fun and educational activities such as Arts & Crafts, Music, Story Time, Yoga and Manners. If weather permits, we go outside to enjoy our outdoor playtime. My goal is to develop each child’s emotional, behavioral and social skills through my curriculum. Program: I’m open year-round from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants as young as 2 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old and part-time care between the age of 2 and 5 years old, including children with special needs. My facility is peanut and tree-nut free environment, and I serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all kids in my care (all meals are already included in the tuition!) Before and after school care are both available for school-age kids, up to 6 years old (I’m close to Burning Tree Elementary School and Bannockburn Elementary School). If you prefer, we can arrange transportation for your child (not included in the tuition, so please inquire to ask about transportation costs). Please note we have a cat named Tiger living with us at the house. He is up to date on all of his vaccines and he is never around children as he lives in a different part of the house. Location: Superkidos Child Care is located in the Bannockburn neighborhood in Bethesda, MD. My home is right off River Rd (route 190) and Wilson Ln (route 188). I'm centrally located with easy access to the I-495 Capital Beltway, Massachusetts Ave (route 396) and Goldsboro Rd (route 614). Bradmoor Educational Playhouse
About Me Welcome to Bradmoor Educational Playhouse, my licensed home daycare and preschool in Bethesda, MD. I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 13 years of child care and early education experience. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and I’m CPR & First-aid certified. I am an experienced teacher, and my passion is working with children. I just love being immersed in their world! A dream came true when operating my family child care program, a place where I create a nurturing, creative, and joyful environment for children. Before opening my own home-based daycare, I was a teacher at a multilingual international elementary school in California. Prior to working there, I was also a teacher in Iran after earning a degree in communication. I am very passionate about art and early childhood education, and I am determined to expand my knowledge in this field. Philosophy I truly believe in creating an environment conducive to curiosity, creativity, and altruism. I think that a simple but organized environment, in which natural materials play a pivotal role, best serves my educational purpose and is productive for learning and growing. Most of my teaching materials are Montessori-based. Curriculum I have taken advantage of elements of the Waldorf teaching philosophy to encourage and nurture creativity and imagination in children. I also employ elements of the Reggio Emilia approach to develop a curriculum that is reflective of my mindfulness of the children's different personalities. Having these differences in mind, I strive to instill in children a profound respect and understanding for the world they live in. In addition to English, I speak Farsi, Persian and Turkish and upon your request, I can expose your little one to these foreign languages (however, please note that my daycare is not a bilingual program). Program My family child care program is open year-round from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 6 weeks and 5 years old. I run a peanut and tree-nut free environment and can serve lunch (with additional fee) to your child. Location Bradmoor Educational Playhouse is in the Bradmoor neighborhood of Bethesda, MD. I’m right off Greentree Rd, near Bradley Park, within walking distance from Bradley Hills Elementary School (also close to Wyngate Elementary School and Bethesda Elementary School). Your commute to work will be convenient since I have easy access to Old Georgetown Rd (route 187), Bradley Blvd (route 191) and the Capital Beltway (I-495). Please call or send an email to book a tour, I would love to meet your family :)

Curriculum & Philosophy: English Village Early Learning Center uses the Creative Curriculum to stimulate each child's sense of exploration and discovery. The Creative Curriculum's foundation is based off the findings of six main theorists. Through their views on children, the curriculum is constructed as a guideline for how we as a center can be united to provide the best possible care. As a center, we use these principles to help make decisions about the care and education of the children. The teachers use their knowledge of child development, the knowledge of children’s individual needs, strengths and interests, and the knowledge of the social and cultural context within each child. By using these theorists’ beliefs, we have a solid base to begin when planning for your child. At English Village Early Learning Center, we understand that your child’s care and education is a top priority. With this understanding, we have designed our curriculum to be all-encompassing and to provide a holistic education for your child. Moreover, our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of children at every stage and age – from infancy to junior kindergarten.
